How do I start using Chalride?
Install the Android app, create your account and set your location. Browse the services available around you, then review your request and its details before confirming.
Can I book a ride from this website?
Ride and food requests are made in the customer app. This website lets you explore services, track parcels, apply as a rider, submit business verification and contact support.
What do I need to track a parcel?
Use the tracking reference from your booking and the sender or recipient phone number associated with it. Those details protect access to your parcel information.
Why is my tracking reference not showing a result?
Check the reference and phone number for typing errors. If the booking is new or the information still cannot be found, contact support with your reference. A missing result does not confirm that a parcel is lost.
Which payment options can I use?
Available options appear before you confirm an order or trip. Chalride supports M-Pesa and cash, but individual stores may accept prepaid orders only. Never share your M-Pesa PIN with a rider, seller or support agent.
My payment went through but I cannot see my order. What now?
Keep your M-Pesa receipt or checkout reference. Check the order history in the app, then contact support with those details before attempting another payment.
How do I register my business?
Complete business verification on the website with the owner’s details, documents, premises location and payout contact. The team reviews it and links an approved application to your vendor account. Submitting does not approve an account automatically.
Can I sell nationwide?
Verified vendors can select nationwide coverage in partner settings. Business-arranged checkout requires an enabled fixed shipping charge and estimated delivery time. If you quote by destination, leave nationwide checkout disabled and discuss shipping with customers.
Do walking and bicycle applicants need a driving licence?
No. Deliveries and errands on foot or by bicycle use the identity-only document path. Motorised applicants also provide relevant vehicle details, licence, vehicle photo and logbook.
Where can I find Mama Fua, stays or land listings?
Open Community Marketplace in the app. Use Service providers for house cleaning and laundry, Airbnb stays for short-stay accommodation, and Land & plots for property listings. Check availability and the listing details directly with the advertiser.
Does an enquiry or booking request confirm availability?
A request starts the conversation. Confirm dates, scope, price and relevant terms with the host, provider or seller before making plans. Charges for listing or contact access, where applicable, are shown in the app.
